THE VILLAGE of Simsboro in Lincoln Parish is seeking HPG funds from U.S.D.A./RHS for rural community housing preservation program. The funds will be used for the repair and rehabilitation of single- family houses of low and very low income residents of Simsboro rural area of Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. Informed citizens are urged to provide their input to the Village Mayor, Honorable Willie Hendricks, or the city’s consultant, Dr. Benedict Nwokolo. JOB ANNOUNCEMENT Lincoln Total Community Action, Inc. is accepting applications for the positions of Bus Drivers and Sub-Drivers. Bus Driver and Substitute- Must hold a valid CDL license with the required endorsements, a safe driving record, at least 21 years of age, a High School Diploma or GED, and have love and patience for young children. This position requires the completion of records, participation in training, and background check clearance. There is a bus attendant that assists with loading and unloading, and other assistance as needed.
