Colvin, Caraway unite in matrimony

Laura Michelle Colvin, of Bernice, and Jay Harper Caraway, of Bossier City, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Bossier City. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Fred Wideman, uncle of the groom.

Carson, Lynch wed

Cassidy Carson, of Tioga, and Stephen Lynch, of Ruston, were married in a double–ring ceremony Sept. 15 at the Melady House in Alexandria.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Carol Rose, of Tioga. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Wes Lynch, of Ruston.

The couple will reside in Nashville, Tenn.

Hodnett, Arrant exchange vows

Dynele Hodnett and Ben Arrant, both of Ruston, exchanged wedding vows in a 7 p.m. ceremony July 22 at the Dixie Cotton Gin in Shreveport. The small intimate ceremony, surrounded by close friends and family, was officiated by Judge Tom Bryson.

The bride is the daughter of Robin Chandler, of Ruston, and Kenneth Hodnett Jr., of Hodge. She is the granddaughter of Jack Robison, of Bossier City, Jackie Shields, of Ruston, Linda Williams, of Chatham, and the late Kenneth Hodnett.

Sealed bids will be received by the Police Jury of Lincoln Parish until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2012 at its office in the Courthouse, Ruston, Louisiana, for furnishing:
ONE (1) PACKAGE TERTIARY FILTER SYSTEM
Only bids submitted on Bid Forms will be accepted. Bid Forms and Specifications may be obtained from the office of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury, P.O. Box 979, Ruston, Louisiana 71273-0979. The Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause.
