The Lincoln Parish School Board met in Regular Session on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Parish School Board Office, 410 South Farmerville Street, Ruston, Louisiana. Members present were Ms. Debbie Abrahm, Mr. Otha Anders, Mr. Michael Barmore, Ms. Lisa Best, Mr. Curtis Dowling, Mr. Danny Hancock, Ms. Mattie Harrison, Ms. Lynda Henderson, Mr. Trott Hunt, Mr. George Mack, Jr., and Mr. Joe Mitcham.
Mr. Eddie Jones was absent.

AT&T MOBILITY

AT&T MOBILITY, in accordance with requirements of Section V.B. of the March 2005 Nationwide Programmatic Agreement (NPA) for Review of Effects on Historic Properties for Certain Undertakings Approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), are requesting comment regarding potential impacts to historical or archaeological properties listed on, or eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), by installation of antennas on a water tank and placement of support equipment within the water tank compound located at 444 R.W.E.

Lewises celebrate 53 years

Earl K. and Queen E. Lewis, of Ruston, celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on Aug. 19 at their favorite restaurant. The couple was married Aug. 19, 1961. The couple has five children Frederick Lewis, and wife Teresa, of Atlanta, Georgia; Ronnie Lewis, of Atlanta, Georgia; Connie Lynn Lewis, of Lafayette; Jennifer, and husband Mario, of West Monroe; and Michelle, of Ruston.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY TO ENTER INTO A LEASE WITH MARBURY BUILDING CORPORATION IN CONNECTION WITH BUILDING AND PROPERTY LOCATED AT 818 WEST CALIFORNIA, RUSTON, LOUISIANA
WHEREAS, Marbury Building Corp. (“Marbury”) is the owner of a building (the “Building”) situated on property located at 818 West California, Ruston, Louisiana (the “Property”); and, WHEREAS, due to renovations at the Customer Service Department (“CSD”) of the City located in City Hall, it is necessary that the CSD relocate for an indefinite period of time; and,
