Roundtree, Hill exchange vows

Kirsti Angelle Roundtree, of Ruston, and Brenton Garrett Hill, of Farmerville, joined in holy matrimony in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony April 11 at First Baptist Church of Ruston. Dr. Chris Craig officiated the wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Joseph Roundtree III, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Geraldine Stevenson, the late Richard I. Stevenson, the late Charles E. Pogue and Mrs. Mildred Roundtree and the late Lionel J. Roundtree.

Schelmety, Smith wed

Danielle Lugo Schelmety, of Orlando, Florida, and Michael Rolf Smith, of Ruston, joined in holy matrimony in a 5:30 p.m. ceremony April 11 at Trinity Methodist Church. The Rev. Brian Mercer and Father Frank Folino officiated the wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Roy Bye and Mrs. Doris Lugo-Schelmety, of Orlando, Florida. She is granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Lugo and Mr. Kenneth Bye and the late Rosemary Bye.

RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT OF COOKTOWN VILLAGE SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF RUSTON, LOUISIANA
WHEREAS, the City has received a request for approval of a preliminary plat of Cooktown Village Subdivision of the City of Ruston, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission held a public hearing on March 16, 2015, reviewed the preliminary plat as submitted, and determined that the proposed development is compatible with the zoning and future land use plan; and,

WHEREAS, the City has received a request for approval of the final plat of Alpine Subdivision, Lots 1, 2 and 3; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission held a public hearing on March 16, 2015, reviewed the final plat and recommended that it be approved subject to the suspensive conditions of City Department Head approval and compliance with City code requirements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RUSTON, LOUISIANA:

WHEREAS, the City has requested and received quotes for construction of Water Main Relocation, U.S. Highway 167 and Reynolds Drive Improvements (the “Project”); and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into agreement with the most responsive, responsible quoter for the Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RUSTON, LOUISIANA:
