Public Hearing - 5:45 p.m.
Ordinance to Accept the Franchise Agreement with Center Point Entergy
Attorney Breedlove presented a twenty-five year contract from Center Point Entergy. The Mayor asked for an increase from 2% to 4% which is in line with most cities in the state, some even have 5%. Mayor Jones explained that this contract is renewed every twenty-five years between the City of Grambling and CenterPoint.
