Herberts celebrate 50 years

Dr. Allen Herbert, of Ruston, and Josie Gregory Herbert, originally of El Dorado, Arkansas, celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 13.

The couple were married June 13, 2065, at the First Methodist Church in El Dorado.

They will celebrate their 50 years together at their home and with a family trip to New Orleans and Florida.

The couple has three children — Greg, Mark and John. They have three grandchildren — Devin, Dalton and Jack.

Clary, Savage exchange vows

Hillary Anne Clary, of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Michael Nelson Savage, of Jonesboro, joined in holy matrimony in a 6 p.m. ceremony May 1 at the Lincoln Parish Museum. Erik Hill officiated the wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Jimmy and Cheryl Sue Bollier, of Ruston, and Ben and Ann Clary, of El Dorado, Arkansas. She is the granddaughter of Larry and Shirley Tilley, Ms. Gaile Clary and the late Ben Clary, Sr.

The groom is the son of Scott and Lanie Savage, of Jonesboro. He is the grandson of the late Verlon and Betty Savage and Glenda Ortego and the late Nelson Ortego.

Wicker, McDonald wed

Catherine Claire Wicker, of Shreveport, and Addison Kade McDonald, of Ruston, were united in marriage on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at half past six o’clock in the evening. The ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the golf course at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, Louisiana. Dr. Tom Harrison officiated the ceremony. Wedding cakes were created by Debbie Griffin of Debi Cakes, LLC in Minden, Louisiana. Floral décor for the ceremony and reception was created by Dianne Feducia of Shreveport.
