Lincoln Parish Fire Protection District No. 1 Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 6:00 p.m., at Lincoln Parish Fire Protection District No.1 Administrative Office, Vienna Station in Dubach, Louisiana, with the following members present: Richard Aillet, Ray Robinson, Mike Fulton, Dennis Byrnes, Layne Parnell, Bart Dugdale, and Richard Durrett.

Welch, Hill to marry Sept. 12

Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Welch, of Choudrant, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Brooke Welch to Michael Wayne Hill, II, also of Choudrant.

Brooke is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Harris, of Choudrant, the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Welch, and Ms. Pearl Harris, of Farmerville.

Michael is the son of Mr. Mike Hill, of West Monroe, and Mrs. Virginia Otwell Skipper, of Gibsland. He is the grandson Ms. Margie Hill, of Swartz, the late Mr. Willie Hill Jr., Ms. Patricia Spillers, of Gibsland, and Mr. James Earl Otwell and Ms. Eloise Carver, of Ruston.
