The Lincoln Parish Police Jury will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 P.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, concerning the proposed amendment of Ordinance No. 171, Sections 4-22, 4-23, and 4-24 regarding Rabies Vaccination requirements, said hearing to be held in the Lincoln Parish Police Jury Meeting Room in the Lincoln Parish Courthouse, 100 West Texas Avenue, Ruston, La. 71270. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

The Finance Committee of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury met in the Police Jury Meeting Room, Third Floor, Lincoln Parish Courthouse, Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. Present were: Jody Backus, Chair; Theresa Wyatt, Hazel Hunter, Skip Russell, Joseph Henderson, and Ronny Walker.
Jody Backus called the meeting to order and delivered the Invocation.
Joe Henderson offered a motion, seconded by Skip Russell, to approve the agenda. The motion carried with the following votes:
The Village of Vienna is seeking quotes on repairs and improvements to Vienna Town Hall located at 5168 Hwy 167, Ruston.
The work is to include the following areas:
Item 1 - Renovations to Existing Bathroom to bring the facility into compliance with American with Disabilities (ADA) requirements
Item 2 - Renovation to enhance the appearance of the Existing Main Room
Item 3 - Renovations to improve the use of the Existing Kitchen
Item 4 - Renovations to the Exterior to enhance and improve the exterior of the building
THE LINCOLN Parish School Board met in Regular Session on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Lincoln Parish School Board office, 410 South Farmerville Street, Ruston, Louisiana. Members present were Ms. Debbie Abrahm, Mr. Otha Anders, Mr. Curtis Dowling, Mr. Danny Hancock, Ms. Mattie Harrison, Ms. Lynda Henderson, Mr. Trott Hunt, Mr. George Mack, Jr., and Mr. Joe Mitcham. Mr. Michael Barmore, Ms. Lisa Best, and Mr. Eddie Jones were absent.
