So Louisiana Tech University is the odds-on choice to rule the Western Athletic Conference race this season?
For all practice purposes, it’s the Bulldogs’ title to lose, given that there’s now a further diluted league that is on the verge of resembling a once stable house toppling on a shaky foundation.
No more Nevada, no more Hawaii, no more Fresno State.
And before you can say “C-USA, here we come,” the Ruston Bulldogs are just over a year from joining the exodus.

GSU Legends’ shrine to add on 12 new members

GRAMBLING — A dozen new members will add to the roll call of the GSU Legends Hall of Fame next week.
Enshrinement ceremonies to honor some of the most successful athletes, coaches and contributors to the rich history of Grambling State University is set for July 14 following a reception scheduled for July 13.

With this year being a presidential election year, political opinions are not lacking. Yet, imagine 1776, the year the United States declared independence from Great Britain and imagine the opinions and political rhetoric in the years leading up to this momentous historic event. It’s safe to assume the country was probably more divided on ideology, than it is today.
