Tech, GSU baseballers on All-Louisiana chart

Lincoln Parish teams are well represented on the nomination list of the 2012 All-Louisiana collegiate baseball team to be announced this weekend.
Louisiana Tech and Grambling State have a combined six candidates.
The Bulldogs’ contributions to the candidancy list include Phil Maton, pitcher; Alex Williams, first base; Jamie Gilley, pitcher; Caleb Dudley, pitcher; Bre’Shon Kimbell, first baseman/outfielder; and Ryan Gebhardt, second base.

Rozelle, Hamilton unite in matrimony

Christopher Dwain Rozelle and LeAnne Elizabeth Hamilton were united in matrimony June 16 at the Rozelle homestead in Choudrant. The double- ring ceremony was officiated by Mayor Bill Sanderson of Choudrant.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Lesa Hamilton, of Bedford, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Roy and Ellen Glover, of Ruston, and late Billy and Dorothy Hamilton. She is the great-granddaughter of Carrie Terrill, of Ruston.

Memorial services for Margaret Ann Ramsey Breathwit Wilder, 90 of Ruston will be 1:00PM Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Hilburn. Mrs. Wilder died Friday, June 15, 2012 in Ruston.
