Anderson added to Bulldogs’ basketball recruiting class

in

Louisiana Tech men’s basketball head coach Michael White announced Wednesday the signing of forward Chris Anderson out of Weatherford College in Texas to a financial grant-in-aid.
Anderson, a 6-foot-6-inch 225-pound forward, will have two-years of eligibility remaining when he joins the Bulldogs for the 2012-13 season.
“Chris is a tremendous talent who has been really productive for two years in a very good junior college league,” White said. “He is very versatile and really fits into our offensive and defensive schemes while also adding size and a high-level of athleticism to our roster.”

Bobby (Bob) F. Grubb

Funeral services for Bobby (Bob) F. Grubb, 74, of Ruston, Louisiana will be at 2:00pm on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Cook Baptist Church in Ruston, Louisiana with Bro, Mike Holloway officiating. Graveside services will follow at Pines Memorial Cemetery in Ruston, Louisiana, Mr. Grubb passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 following a lengthy illness, Mr. Grubb served 5 years in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, Louisiana. He retired in 2000 from Haynes International in Arcadia.
