UPDATE: Fire engulfs Tech frat house, no serious injuries

RUSTON (AP) — A fire gutted a Louisiana Tech University fraternity house on Saturday, resulting in injuries to three firefighters but none to students.
Lt. Tim Parker of the Ruston police said firefighters responded to a 4:35 p.m. call about a fire at the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house at the edge of the Tech campus. The fire engulfed the building and spread to a nearby structure. It caused a roof collapse and items to be ejected from the frat house.

BREAKING NEWS: Fire destroys fraternity house

Three firefighters were reportedly injured in a blaze that destroyed the Louisiana Tech University Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house on Saturday.
The fire is believed to have begun around 4:30 p.m. at the structure located at the corner of Mississippi Avenue and Western Street. Ruston Fire Department Public Education Officer Eric Brazzel said the roof collapsed, and the structure was a total loss. One of the firefighters was injured in a fall and the other injuries were heat-related, he said.
