Lincoln Parish’s links to the National Football League playoffs have dwindled.
For starters, the elimination of the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers have taken away former Louisiana Tech connections in Pete Carmichael, Jr., Bill Johnson and Tramon Williams.

HONOLULU, Hawaii — Freshman guard Raheem Appleby scored a career-high 28 points, as Louisiana Tech (9-10, 1-3) defeated Hawaii (10-8, 2-2) 74-70 Thursday night at the Stan Sheriff Center in front of 6,016 fans.
