Robinson museum earns state award

Build it and they will come.
That’s exactly what has happened with the Eddie G. Robinson Museum, which was officially opened in February of 2010 to honor the legacy of the late Grambling State University head football coach.
In only a year’s time, the museum has scored a touchdown.
More than 12,000 visitors have entered the facility located on the GSU campus, not that far away from where Robinson won 408 games during a legendary 57-year career.
That’s a record-setting number for the first year of operation for any state-sanctioned museum.
