Hipp, Durrett win championship

Ruston High School freshmen Garrett Hipp (left) and Gunner Durrett recently won the annual RHS Future Farmers of America bass fishing tournament at a private pond located in Lincoln Parish.
The tandem totaled 10 fish weighing in at 45 pounds and also gained top honors in the “Big Bass” division. Durrett had a 10-pounder and Hipp a five-pounder.
