William Benjimin (Ben) Stuart

A memorial service for Mr. William Benjimin (Ben) Stuart, age 59 of Bernice, will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011 at South Parkway Church in Ruston.  Pastor Chris Witt, Rev. Robert Stuart and Rev. Dennis Stuart will officiate the service.

Choudrant No. 2 in state

Aggies lose out to Forest again in title game

ALEXANDRIA — The Choudrant Aggies found themselves in a familiar place, playing at Bringhurst Field for a chance to be state champions in Class B of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.
For the third time in the last two years and including the last two, District 3-B rival Forest stood in the way.
The Aggies couldn’t put together their fourth victory of the season over the Bulldogs, as they fell 7-5 in the championship game on Saturday night.
