Rotary announces January Students of Month

The Ruston Rotary Club proudly announces the recipients of the January Student of the Month Award. Recognized by Rotarian Allen Tuten, each student was honored at the Jan. 19 luncheon and presented an award of achievement by club president Andy Halbrook.

Students focus on positive attitudes, LEAP

Kindergarten
Kindergarteners at Glen View have been working very hard and learning so many new concepts in math and reading. Look out first-grade teachers. We are enjoying reading from our leveled readers and learning how to blend words together and sound out words so we will be more fluent readers.  We have also been learning about many different winter animals as we read many different books about this topic. We are looking forward to celebrating our 100 days of school in kindergarten. Wow, we are 100 days smarter.
