Simsboro High School Homecoming Court

Simsboro High School Homecoming Court members include: Front row — Senior Maids Tanajah Ginyard, Shelby Williams, Flo Parker and Anna Grace Dowling; Second row — Sophomore Maids Alison Alexander and Chelsea Reed; Freshmen Maids Ashley Musgrove and LaShonda Walker. Back row — Junior Maids Carmelita Jeffers and Rojanique Cole. The Simsboro High School Tigers will host the Montgomery Tigers on Friday. The Homecoming Court will be presented at 6 p.m. with the crowning of the queen, followed by the Lady Tiger and Tigers games.

Family donates mother’s paintings to museum

The Lincoln Parish Museum recently received a donation of paintings from a Claiborne Parish family.
Margaret Ann Emory, director of the museum, said the paintings really enhance the museum.
The paintings, by DeCinter Caraway Farley, represent her life growing up on her family’s farm in Claiborne Parish.

“Living in the Spirit” class on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. will help you understand the Holy Spirit’s role in your life. Children’s Church at 10:45 a.m. will teach your children to know God and the Bible. Nursery up through age 3 provided on Sundays at 10:45 a.m. and by request on Sunday night and Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Our sixth-12th grade youth ministry is growing. Join us at 6 p.m. Sundays. We also invite you to come pray with us.
