Residents of Dubach celebrate the holidays like every other small town in Louisiana, by having a festival.
After nearly 10 years of holding a Christmas Festival, Dubach residents have not lost sight of their Christmas spirit.

While Robinson’s football teams were dominating most of their opposition on the football field, GSU’s basketball team (there was no women’s squad at the time) was equally superior, largely in thanks to a “put it up from the parking lot” kind of small forward out of Cohen High School in New Orleans.

When a running back reaches 1,000 yards on the ground for a season, well, that should pretty much wrap up postseason accolades of some type.
Figure on Ja’Ren Johnson and Austin Ginn experiencing such honors in upcoming weeks when a variety of after-the-season teams will be announced.
Ruston High’s Johnson and Cedar Creek’s Ginn are among the leading candidates to represent Lincoln Parish for such honors after being among the top rushers for their districts and classifications.
