’Dogs focusing only on SJSU, not Nevada

This could be one of those weeks for Louisiana Tech University’s football team where it’s difficult not to look ahead.
On Saturday, the Bulldogs (4-6, 3-3) play at San Jose State (1-10, 0-6), a team at the bottom of the Western Athletic Conference and losers of its last eight games.
On Dec. 4, the ’Dogs play a regular season finale in Ruston against Nevada, which has the opposite overall mark of San Jose State and has been included in the nation’s Top 25; that game could decide whether or not Tech becomes bowl eligible.
