Grambling’s early advantage evaporates in 92-55 loss

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — After losing three games in a row, the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks came out Sunday afternoon at dominated in a convincing victory over Grambling State, 92-55. The duo of Porsha Roberts and Daylyn Harris put on a show, scoring 23 points apiece as the Ladyjacks cruised to victory.
The contest was close early on with Grambling State (2-6) holding onto an early 9-6 lead six minutes into the game. That’s when SFA (4-6) took over.

GSU men at home tonight

The Grambling State University men’s basketball team will play its first home game of the sesaon at 7:30 p.m. tonight as the 0-4 Tigers play host to Central Baptist University. The Mustangs head into the contest at 1-7 on the season.

It seems our future might be brighter than we think if some of the shining lights presented during that meeting continue on their paths to success.
