Tech football to hold fundraiser

Car wash donations to go to Boys and Girls Clubs

Louisiana Tech’s football program will host a car wash Wednesday at the Chevron Car Wash on Tech Drive with all donations raised going towards the Boys and Girls Club of North Central Louisiana.
Football student-athletes on the Blue Team from the 2014 T-Day Spring Game — losers of this year’s spring game by a 37-20 decision — will be washing cars for donations from the public. Those team members will also be washing the cars of the winning Red Team members.

Alton R. Ragland

A memorial service will be held for Alton R. Ragland, 78, at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston.  Alton passed away at his home in Dubach, LA on Thursday, June 5, 2014.Alton was born April 8, 1936 to Percy and Mae Ragland in Lake Providence.  He graduated for Lake Providence High School in 1954 and he served in the Marines.

A memorial service for Mr. Hugh C. Durham, IV, age 51 of Ruston, will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, June 9, 2014 at The Ruston Country Club. Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
