Cyber security important for business

No business owner would leave their doors unlocked when closing, nor would they leave the money lying around without putting it in its proper place. Most businesses have a security system or cameras to help combat thievery and malice.
Security is important for any business, and with technology moving so fast, it is very important to have computers and virtual information protected as well. Without proper protection, there is a chance that the business owner could lose everything because of hackers and social engineers.

Taking the plunge on Saturday

One of the better aspects of being in this line of work are all the fun, unique events we get to attend or at least know about a little more than the average person.
Set to take the plunge at around 3 p.m. Saturday are the Outhouse Races in Choudrant.
Now, my first year on the job, I was privileged to attend the races, but it wasn’t until recently I learned how they really got started.
Choudrant Mayor Bill Sanderson said the event got started with a “little white lie.”

Anthony Weiner, also known as his sexting alias of Carlos Dan­ger, has been a popular man in New York City and around the coun­try for the past few months, but for all of the wrong reasons.
By now, you probably know all about his 2011 sexting scandal that led to his resignation from the U.S. House of Representatives.
However, some people are still un­aware he lost the Democratic primary for New York City mayor earlier this month with less than 5 percent of the vote, in a theatrical fashion at that.
