Tech tennis nets wins

HOUSTON — Saturday was supposed to start a stretch of four matches in four days for Louisiana Tech, but possible inclement weather today quickly turned into two matches in one day.
The sudden change in schedule did not bother the Lady Techsters though as they swept both neutral site matches, 6-1 over Tyler Junior College and 5-2 over Connecticut, at the John E. Hoff Courts on the campus of the University of Houston.
The two victories continued the great start to the season, having now won 10 straight (10-1, 3-0 Conference-USA) which eclipses last year’s season-high streak of nine.
