June is here, the time of summer vacation fun, swimming pools, hot dogs and Wilbert Ellis packing his suitcases.

Over the past three seasons, Petersen has totaled 15 wins and finished this year with a 3-6 mark and 3.95 earned run average.

According to the Red Cross, home pool drowning is the leading cause of death for children younger than 5. Although children should never be left unattended in a swimming pool or hot tub, there are also other precautions the Red Cross recommends:
• Keep water clear and pool free of debris.

Reinventing the downtown

Sharp, Lacey.jpg

Although the temperature is rising, a midday stroll is still not out of the question. With summer quickly approaching, temperatures will soon cross the triple digit threshold and the only outdoors activity I will be interested in will involve some large body of water. But right now, the weather is still cooperating with my need to go outside and get some fresh air.
