DART’s fallen hero remembered

Autrey, Terrie 2014.jpg

This past week, our community lost a legend and a gentleman when Mickey McHale died.

At DART, we will always remember Mickey McHale as a hero. He was a man who fiercely championed the cause of families who have been abused by people they love. He was one of our strongest and most passionate supporters.

in
Davis, OK.jpg

Louisiana Tech University’s recent upset win over Oklahoma in Norman sent some shock waves over the nation’s college basketball landscape.
The unranked Bulldogs stunned the Top Ten ranked Sooners in overtime.
That victory could also bode well for Tech down the line.
Specifically, once the postseason arrives.
Let’s say the fun-to-watch Bulldogs win the Conference USA championship and earn an automatic berth in the NCAA tournament.
Having beaten the talented Sooners should give the ’Dogs the confidence they can win against opponent they face in the Big Dance.

The victory was the sixth straight for the Bulldogs (14-3, 2-0 C-USA) who needed someone off the bench to score in place of their leading scorer Appleby, and Saturday that was Jaron Johnson.
