TOWN OF DUBACH
REGULAR MEETING OF TOWN COUNCIL The Town Council of Dubach, Louisiana met in Regular Session Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 6:30 pm at the Town Hall.
Present were Honorable Bob Jensen, Mayor and Council members Vallie Carrico, Hattie Graham, Davie Powell, Robert Colvin, Donna Lewis, and Jessica Darden with the Ruston Daily
Leader.
Absent: None
Public Comments: NONE
Citizens attended: Sarah Cooper and Don McGehee.
The Meeting opened with Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation by Mayor Jensen.
Motion by Davie Powell Seconded by Hattie Graham to approve Agenda as presented

Louisiana Tech University has entered into a partnership with global IT leader Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Louisiana Economic Development (LED) FastStart, and the Cyber Innovation Center in Bossier City to offer current and prospective students a comprehensive suite of cyber-related programs and career opportunities designed to meet the current and future needs of CSC.

Club recognizes greatness of youth

For some youth the Boys and Girls Club of North Central Louisiana is a home away from home.
Tuesday night marked the second time the club would host their Youth of the Year banquet, sponsored by Aaron’s.
Eldonta Osborne, the club’s chief professional officer, said the idea for the event first began when he spoke with Craig Bass at Aaron’s.
“We were talking about him wanting to do something big with the club,” Osborne said. “So I shared with him the idea of the Youth of the Year Program. He told me that this was the sort of thing he wanted to get involved in and help with.”
