Roebucks celebrate 50 years

John and Gloria Barrett Roebuck, of Ruston, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday. The Roebucks were married on July 24, 1964, at the First Baptist Church in Wilmot, Arkansas. A trip was taken to the Buffalo National River in June to celebrate the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary. The couple said they chose to travel to Arkansas because it is “God’s Country.” The couple has a daughter Lisa Nelson, who is married to Paul. They also have three grandchildren — Larkin, Barrett and Landry Grace Nelson.
