New facility nearly complete

The finishing touches are being made to the five-year project that is the new Lincoln Parish Sherriff’s Office facility.
The complex, located on 161 Road Camp Road in Ruston, has cost more than $5 million and Sheriff Mike Stone believes it will be worth every penny when it comes to the protection of the citizens of Lincoln Parish.
“This is a game-changer,” Stone said. “For the first time ever, we’ll have a facility equal to any in the state and everything we do will be working for the protection of citizens in Lincoln Parish.”
