NTP SOLUTIONS and AT&T Mobility

NTP SOLUTIONS and AT&T Mobility, in accordance with requirements of Section V.B. of the March 2005 Nationwide Programmatic Agreement (NPA) for Review of Effects on Historic Properties for Certain Undertakings Approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), are requesting comment regarding potential impacts to historical or archaeological properties listed on, or eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), by installation of telecommunication antennas on an existing water tank located at Martin Luther King Jr.

Radiothon pulls in $100K

This week, area residents opened their hearts and their pocket books to make more than a $100,000 impact in the lives of children who need services from St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
Z107.5 Big Z Country and the Zeta Rho Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha hosted the 33rd annual St. Jude Radiothon Monday and Tuesday at Super 1 Foods in Ruston.

Group seeks vendors

Booths should focus on helping those with MS

The North Central Louisiana Multiple Sclerosis Group is currently looking for vendors to serve at its annual MS Awareness event set for 11 a.m. March 22 at the Lincoln Parish Library.
Barbara McIntyre, co-leader of the group, said the vendors will provide information before and after the main speaker Dr. Annette Howard, an MS specialist from Houston.

LPSO nabs burglary suspect

An arrest made Sunday was able to bring closure for residents who were victims of burglaries occurring in the Burgessville Road area.
Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Demetric Vontez Coleman, 17, of 124 Liner St., for two counts simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and one count of aggravated burglary.
