Adrienne Blanks Boone, of Monroe, and Matthew William Bridges, of Monroe, were married at 6 p.m. Sept. 12 at North Monroe Baptist Church. The Rev. Gary Traylor officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Adrienne is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Ronald Boone, of Jones. She is the granddaughter of David Boone, the late Bettie Jo Blanks Boone, of Bastrop, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fort Doles, of Jones.

Matthew is the son of Sharon Hamner Bridges and Danny Bridges, of Monroe. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lory W. Hamner Jr., of Dubach, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bridges, of Monroe. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Harrell, of Dubach, Marie Hamner and the late Lory W. Hamner Sr., of Ruston.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory taffeta gown designed by Madeline Gardner. The strapless bodice was embellished with delicate hand-beaded embroidery forming a rouched waist. The crossover rouching at the waist created an asymmetrically draped A-line skirt of French taffeta, which swept into a classic chapel-length train with crystal beading. Complimenting her gown was a traditional fingertip-length veil traced in diamonte beading. The bride carried a bouquet of green hydrangeas, cream and white roses, white caspia and stock wrapped in white organza ribbon accented with pearl beads.

Jenny Sibley Bean, of Shreveport, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley McGee, of Monroe, Mandi Waldron, of Shreveport, Lisa Peddy, of Monroe, Ashley Duchesne, of Monroe, Kerri James, of Monroe, and Lisa Bridges, of Monroe.

The bridesmaids wore smoky amethyst, strapless, knee-length, satin dresses with diagonally crossed bodices and full skirts from the Vineyard collection.

They carried bouquets with green hydrangeas accented with purple wax flower, white roses and white caspia.

Keith Hunnicutt, of Monroe, served as best man. Groomsmen were John Michael Hunter, of Monroe, Ben Perodeau, of Arizona, John Odom, of Monroe, Ryan Faler, of Shreveport, Michael Heyward, of Houma, and Jeff King, of Monroe.
Ushers were Nicholas Boone, of Vicksburg, Miss., Jason Doles, of Bastrop, and Jake Hamner, of Monroe.

The flower girl was Sarah Margaret Davison, of Choudrant, and the ring bearer was Wesley James, of Monroe.

Hannah Doles, of Monroe, read the Bible scripture for the ceremony. Sarabeth Parker, of Choudrant, was pianist. Frank Boone, of Quitman, sang “Your Love is Extravagant.” The Mike McKenzie Band provided entertainment during the reception.
