Two signees added to Dogs’ track signing class

Louisiana Tech track and field head coach Gary Stanley and his coaching staff are excited to welcome future Bulldogs Desmyn McCall and Hagan LeDrew to the LA Tech track and field program.

McCall, a hurdler from Jacksonville, Florida, ranked fourth in the state and 13 th nationally with a time of 14.03 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles. The Terry Parker High School student-athlete also ranks fifth in the state and 18 th nationally with a time of 38.23 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles.

LeDrew, a thrower from Fairhope, Alabama, ranks first in the state and 22nd nationally in the shot put.

The pair of Bulldogs join a group of six future Bulldogs and Lady Techsters who will become part of the LA Tech program for the 2021-22 season. The Florida and Alabama natives will join Nariah Parks from East St. Louis, Illinois, Marshall Ellis from Flossmoor, Illinois, and Rebecca Quebedeaux from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as the five signees from the United States.

LA Tech also has signed three future student-athletes from across the globe for this upcoming season, Germany natives Linn Soelch and Victoria Datta and Turkey native Tibet Sancak.
