Tuderrel Benjamin died on the morning of Saturday July 18, 2020, in Nashville, TN.

He was 45 years old.

He was born Aug. 24, 1974, in Shreveport, LA and grew up in the village of Mount Olive — located in the city limits of Ruston, LA. Mt Olive is culturally a part of Grambling, LA; thus, Tuderrel was from Grambling, LA. Tuderrel lived in Nashville, TN, and worked at Vanderbilt Health Systems. He was known for his singing and dearly loved his son and grandson. Tuderrel’s survivingnuclear-family members are son Jalen Weaver; grandson Zion Rashaan Weaver [Charlotte Weaver (Jalen’s mother)]; grandmother Dorothy Torbor; parents Donald and Mary Miller (their children); siblings: Sharon Bedford, Earl Benjamin-Robinson, Shamika Benjamin-White, Herve’ V. Benjamin, Dibreda Black, Yesha Benjamin, and Dawn Elise Miller.
