Mildred “Milli” Lee Spillers Berry

Graveside memorial services for Ms. Mildred “Milli” Lee Spillers Berry will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, at the Providence Memorial Cemetery at Lake Providence, Louisiana with Reverends Don Boyett and Bill Bearden officiating. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.

Mildred Ruth Berry was born at Lake Providence, Louisiana on Dec. 3, 1945, to the late Howard Joshua Lee and Anne Della Griffin Lee.

She passed away peacefully on the morning of October 5, 2020 at LSU-Ochner Medical Center in Shreveport.

“Milli” as she was affectionately known by family and friends was a member of the Catholic church. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and took care of many patients during her time of service at Ruston General Hospital, West Carroll Hospital, and Cherry Ridge Guest Care.

Ms. Berry is survived by her daughter Melanie Spillers Boyte and her husband Mickey; two granddaughters, Aundrea Jester, husband Bo, and their children Ty Jester and Jace Jester, and Ashley Campbell, her husband Devin, and their child Grae Campbell.

She is also survived by her two sisters, Betty Lee Bonner and her husband Pat, and Patricia Lee Corbin and her husband Don; three nieces, Pamela Bonner Laird and husband Chuck, Sarah Bonner Johnson, and Christie Corbin Maxey and husband Mark; six great-nieces and nephews, Patrick Laird, Garrett Laird, Clayton Stanfield, Madison Stanfield, Kaitlyn Maxey, and Hailey Maxey; and a great-greatniece, Embree Watson.
