Jenna Marie White Marbury

Funeral services for Jenna Marie White Marbury, 46, of Simsboro, will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Simsboro First Baptist Church with Dr. Jason Cole and Rev. Ronnie Cathey officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Jenna passed away in her home in Simsboro, on March 25, 2021, after battling a lengthy illness. She was born on December 8, 1974, in Monroe, to Jerry and Gail White, who survive her in this life. Jenna was a resident of Simsboro, and graduated from Simsboro High School and Louisiana Tech University in Ruston.

Jenna had a huge heart, and spent much of her time during her teen years caring for her ailing grandmother, whom she called “Nanny.” These years sparked a sincere desire in Jenna to care for the aging, and as she headed into college Jenna embarked on a career path devoted to caring for our elderly within our communities.

Jenna was passionate that each person should feel valued and loved at every stage of life and she devoted herself to making sure a person’s last years were full of love.

Jenna also loved being a mom. Nothing brought her greater joy than watching Dillen play ball or Abigail cheer. Not a day went by that she did not remind herself that one of the greatest blessings in her life were her children. Jenna enjoyed life and her laugh was infectious to all. Jenna will be missed by family and friends alike who will never forget her quick wit, her engaging smile, or the way she could light up a room with her presence. Jenna lived out loud, and it will be silent without her.

Jenna is survived by her two children, Abigail and Dillen Marbury; sister, Amanda White Wall and husband Brad Wall; brother, Joshua Len White and his wife Pam McDaniel White; nieces, Presley Wall, Annie and Emilee White and nephew, Dalton White.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Evans, Tony Oxford, Shane Jones, Mike Reeves, Lance Waldron and Brad Wall.

Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Simsboro First Baptist Church.
