Graveside service for Allie Bell Walker, 84, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Sweetwater Cemetery in Quitman, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Ruston.

Allie Bell Walker was born May 16, 1936 in Epps, LA, and passed away on January 18, 2021, in Ruston. Allie was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family, loved watching birds, crocheting, and growing flowers.

In her later years, she enjoyed spending time at the camp.

She was preceded in death by two siblings, Bobby Joe Williams and Juanita Williams.

Allie is survived by her husband of 68 years, A. V. Walker; children, Wayne Walker (Betty), Allie Mae “Susie” Klinger, Donald Walker (Sheila), Robert Walker (Tammy), Kay Lightfoot, Joyce Sewell (Dink), and Leo Walker (Christy); siblings, Mary Alice Smith, Henry Williams (Bessie), Ruth Noble (Norman), and Jimmy Ray Williams (Debbie); 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: James Klinger, Karl Klinger, Ben Walker, Nathan Walker, A. J. Pelham, Alex Walker and Jonathan Walker.

Visitation will be from 9 - 10 A.M. on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Ruston.

Out of precaution under the current conditions, the visitation is an opportunity for friends to sign the register and view Mrs. Walker. The family will not be in attendance.
