Gerald B. Taylor (10-29-2009)
Funeral service for Mr. Gerald B. Taylor, age 76, of Ruston will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 30, 2009 at Grace United Methodist Church in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Dr. Wayne Evans of Grace United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Pines Memorial Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Rites under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Mr. Taylor was born November 20, 1932 in Manchester, VT. and passed away October, 27, 2009 in Shreveport, LA. following a brief illness.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Ruston. He was a graduate of the University of Connecticut BSEE in 1960. Mr. Taylor served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Masonic Composite Lodge #28 AF&AM in Connecticut. He was employed in executive management positions in the natural gas industry. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his son: Christopher B. Taylor and his parents: Seth Burt Taylor and Alice May Barr Hall Taylor.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife: Janice Frosch Taylor of Ruston, LA; sister: Sally Mills of Oklahoma City, OK; brother: Donald S. Taylor of Chewelah, WA. and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Grace United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall ,in Ruston.
