Mrs. Annie Maude Caraway (10-19-2009)
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Maude Caraway, age 80 of Ruston will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Owens Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carl (Sonny) Wheatley and Rev. Tommy Speights officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Caraway was born July 3, 1929 and went to her heavenly home October 15, 2009. She was a peach seller for Mitcham's for 40 years and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Caraway. Mrs. Caraway is survived by three daughters: Margie and husband Charles Thomas of Ruston, Barbara and husband Tommy Speights of Ruston and Pat and husband Jimmy Gilley of Clay; two sons: Johnny Caraway and wife Beverly and Ray Caraway and wife Charlotte, all of Ruston; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three step grandsons as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Northern Louisiana Medical Center, Princeton Place Nursing home and Dr. Tom Morris.
