Mr. Robert John Pfister (10-15-2009)
Funeral services for Mr. Robert John Pfister (Bob) will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 12, 2009 at Owens Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steven Nutt officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Pfister was born January 20, 1924 in Glendale, New York and died October 9, 2009 in Ruston.  He was a professional photographer by trade.  He served in the US Air Force during WWII and the Korean Conflict and was a member of the VFW in Ruston.  In his spare time he enjoyed airplanes and trains of all types and took many pictures of them for his personal collection.  Mr. Pfister was a member of Cook Baptist Church in Ruston.
Mr. Pfister is survived by his wife Bettie Bauguss Pfister, his son John Pfister and wife Barbara of Haughton, his daughter Barbara and husband Charles Bishop of Ruston; his granddaughters Virginia Lynn Dailey of West Monroe and Kristen Michelle and husband Ryan Dees of Spring, Texas; his grandson Charles Christopher Dailey of Ruston and his great grandson Brody Zane Dees.
