Mrs. Lucille Haughton (10-02-2009)
Funeral service for Mrs. Lucille Haughton, age 92, of Shreveport, LA formerly of Clay, LA  will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Clay United Methodist Church. Officiating the service will be Rev. Gary Boone. Interment will follow at New Prospect Cemetery in Clay under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. 

Mrs. Haughton was born July 18, 1917 and passed away September 30, 2009. Mrs. Haughton was a long time member of Clay United Methodist Church. She was a nurse in the U.S. Navy. Following her military service she worked at Lincoln General Hospital as a surgical nurse. 

She is survived by her children; Dale Haughton and wife Kathleen of Columbus, GA, and Pam Zuniga and husband Fidi of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren: Jay Haughton, Tim Odom and Hillary Capetillo and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jay Haughton, Tim Odom, Rey Capetillo, Carl Atkins, Mike Haughton and Johnny Haughton.

 Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.
