Virginia “Gi Gi” Parish Dees (09-23-2009)
Funeral services for Virginia “Gi Gi” Parish Dees, 70, of Rayville, LA will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Rayville United Methodist Church, Rayville, LA with Bro. John Robert Black and Bro. Don Thornton, Sr. officiating. I

nterment will follow in Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA. Gi Gi was born August 30, 1939 and passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009 after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Dees was a member of the Rayville United Methodist Church and a former member of the Pilot Club.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Wilmoth Parish and sister, Caroline Camp.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Dees of Rayville, LA; sisters, Frances Carter of Houston, TX and Linda Kristiansen of Denham Springs, LA; host of family and friends and special nieces and nephews, whom she considered as her children; special extended family member, Cammie Hughes of Rayville, LA. Pallbearers are Ryan Gebhardt, Matt Moen, T.J. Randers, Tom Randers, Don Thornton, Sr, and Allen Jordan.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Wednesday, at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
