Suzy Morton Hill (09-22-2009)
Funeral services for Suzy Morton Hill, age 51, of Ruston, LA will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Temple Baptist Church in Ruston, LA. Rev. Dale Oden will officiate with burial to follow in Pines Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.

Suzy was born on October 21, 1957 in Ruston, LA and passed away on September 19, 2009 in Ruston, LA.

Suzy received an associate degree from Louisiana Tech University and a Master’s Degree from Tulane University. She owned and operated Land Consultants Inc. for over 20 years in Metairie, LA before moving to Houston, TX.

She is survived by her parents: J.W. and Alverne Morton of Ruston, LA; siblings: Mark Morton and his wife, Eileen of Muleshoe, TX; Steve Morton of Ruston, LA; and Becky Howard and her husband, Dewey of Ruston, LA; nieces and nephews: Daniel and Piper Garbarino of San Antonio, TX; Summer and Delbert Davis; Cassie and Casey Collier, all of Nacogdoches, TX; Sunny and Bo Lusk of Houston, TX; eight great grand nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles: Norma and Fred Rousseau of Okmulgee, OK; and Bill and Rose Hood of Dubach, LA; cousins: Jimmy and Karen Morton; Jackie Morton; Sharon and Darryl Taylor; Bryant and Angela Hood; and Nell and Allen Elmore.

Pallbearers will be Joe Mitcham, James Fuller, Rusty Boyer, Michael Serasin, Clark Hays, John Lane Wilson, and Tommy Ledford.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from 5 - 7 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA .
