Mr. Robert E. "Bob" Price (09-01-2009)
Funeral services for Robert E. "Bob" Price of Ruston will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Cook Baptist Church in Ruston at 11a.m. Officiating will be Dr. Mike Holloway, Rev. Jimmie Pyles and Rev. Mike Naron. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Cook Baptist Church in Ruston from 5-8p.m.

Mr. Price was born on August 19, 1928 and passed away on August 30, 2009 at the age of 81. He was a self employed monument engraver.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn M. Price of Ruston, LA, two Daughters, Lou Ann Richards and husband Doug of Webster, TX, Mary Smith and husband Tim of Simsboro, LA, two sons, Robert W. Price of Ruston, LA, John E. Price, Sr., and wife Sue of Ruston, LA, three step-daughters, Janice Duhon of Lake Jackson, TX, Cynthia Naron and husband Rev. Michael Naron of Pasadena, TX, Deborah Loyd of Boulder, CO, one step-son, Michael Wiley and wife Karen of Marshall, TX, two sisters, Mary Cardwell of Simsboro, LA, Janelle Silvey of Simsboro, LA, one brother, Freddie Price of Simsboro, LA, nineteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mr. Price was preceded in death by his first wife, Jackie Price.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff of St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe for their kind attention and care during his illness. Mr. Price was a native and long time resident of Simsboro, he was a member of Cook Baptist Church and had sang in many quartets and church choirs over the years.
