Mr. Lloyd Webb (08-20-2009)
Funeral service for Mr. Lloyd Webb, age 67, of Clay, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 21, 2009 at Clay United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery in Clay under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA. Mr. Webb was born in Mansfield, LA on July 23, 1942 and passed away in Shreveport, LA on August 19, 2009.
Mr. Webb was a member of Clay United Methodist Church for many years. As well as being a loving father and adoring grandfather, Lloyd was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Webb was an honorably discharged veteran having served in the United States Army Airborne Division.
He was preceded in death by his parents: J.C. and Annie Maye Webb; his brothers: Clyde and Edward Webb; and his wife of 42 years: Mary Russell Webb.
He is survived by his children: Stephanie Webb Haralson and husband Chris, Les Webb and wife Emily, and Russ Webb and wife Emily; grandchildren: Alyssa Noel Greer, Nicholas Greer, Logan Webb, Connor Webb, Rebekah Webb, and Kaleigh Webb; siblings: Helen Lilley, Della Jeanotte, Bob Webb and wife Karen and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be: Chris Hanes, Larry Caldwell, Daniel Huddleston, Ronald Saucier, Gary Lilley, and Will Billberry.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Sherby Staggs, Carl Atkins, Gary Boone, Larry Clinton, Bob Webb, and Buddy Milstead.
