Mrs. Estelle Arlene Younse Revel (08-12-2009)
Funeral service for Mrs. Estelle Arlene Younse Revels, age 92, of Ruston will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Rock Corner Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Rev. Richard Hinkle. Interment will follow at Rock Corner Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.

Mrs. Revels was born December 11, 1916 and passed away August 11, 2009. Mrs. Revels was a long time member of the Rock Corner Baptist Church. She worked as a seamstress at Hilburn’s Cleaners for many years. Mrs. Revels was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her four bothers.

She is survived by her sons: John H. Revels and wife Linda of Ruston, Henry W. Revels and wife Ruth of Ruston, and Thomas M. Revels and wife Betty of Dubach; sister: Faye Younse of Ruston; sisters-in-laws: Billye Sue Younse of Ruston and Lois Nicks of Monroe; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Tommy Younse, Caleb Younse, Brian Revels, Scott Revels, Everett Ginn, and Josh Younse.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA. Online condolence may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
