Anna Herrmann O'Kelley (08-11-2009)
Anna Herrmann O'Kelley, 80, of The Woodlands, TX, died peacefully at home on August 8, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. Anna Claire Herrmann was born to Clarence Charles and Anna Van Ness "Van" Herrmann on October 27, 1928. Anna was an active volunteer throughout her life, ranging from church activities and the Pink Lady Auxiliary to serving as the volunteer manager of the gift shop at The Glen Retirement Village in Shreveport. She was gifted in finding beauty and magic in the smallest details and inspiring others to see it as well. Her courageous battle with health challenges, particularly in the last few years, touched many lives.
