The special committee formed to investigate allegations of sexual misconduct across the National Federation of the Blind, including its Rustonbased training center, is slated to make a report on its findings and recommendations Friday evening as part of the NFB’s virtual convention.

After falling dormant, the VFW Auxiliary is making a comeback in Lincoln Parish. Debbie Holmes, Auxiliary President for Parnell-Burt Post 3615, thinks the time couldn’t be better for the organization to mount a return.
As the sun broke over the horizon, members of VFW Post 3615 helped Ruston celebrate the Fourth of July by placing dozens of American flags throughout the community.
