Caleb Daniel, The Grain of Salt

Recently I’ve had several opportunities to get an up-close look at various programs and offerings in public education here in Lincoln Parish. Here’s the short version: Kids are up to some pretty neat stuff here in our backyard.

I imagine everyone, in their youth, at one time or another became frustrated with someone older than them for being inflexible and rigid.

I’ve known for several years that the Lincoln Parish Park is a special place to be.

I honestly found it difficult to believe what I was seeing Saturday night as the polls closed and results came rolling in for the school board’s bond proposal in the Ruston school district.
