At 8 a.m. Saturday, Mayor Ronny Walker will ring the opening bell and begin the ninth season of the Ruston Farmers Market. Things will be a little different this season though, as the market will be located in a covered, open-air building at 220 E. Mississippi Avenue. “The building, a former city of Ruston warehouse, has been freshened and opened up and includes an outdoor sitting area with a stage and ADA-compliant restrooms,” Jean McWeeney, president of North Louisiana Farm Fresh, said.
