Bulldogs drill Grambling, 21-1
On Tuesday night, he didn’t have to worry.
The Bulldogs (3-4) went out a 6-1 lead in the first inning and never looked back on the way to a 21-1 romp past the Tigers (1-4) in front of 410 fans on a clear and chilly evening.
“I reminded our players of one thing in our talk before the game,” the Bulldogs’ head coach said. “They dog piled on our mound last year and that’s not a slap at Grambling, but I reminded them. It wasn’t just the players. There were 30 or 40 fans out there.
“We wanted to stay focused and be all business the entire game tonight.”
